$12? Where are you shopping for CDs? I just paid $21.50 (after tax) for a domestic CD. It's highway robbery I tell you!!! I am an artist and music producer. I sell CDs at my shows for 8 bucks and I still make 7 bucks a CD after cost. The music industry (not the artists) have put themselves in this prediciment. It's too bad the artists have to suffer. Fortunantly the internet allow artist, like myself, to sell and distribute music with ease and that is the key to individual success in my opinion. You don't need a record contract or the bastardized music industry to support yourself with your art. I know because I do it myself.
